Metadata is information about your data; in this project metadata describes the document (“document metadata”) and the corpus (“corpus metadata”).

Metadata is available in:

• ANNIS: click on the “i” icon for corpus metadata; use the dropdown menu that appears for document metadata for each document
• data.copticscriptorium.org web application: the document metadata appears at the bottom of each document; corpus metadata is not visible.

Both sets of metadata have been incorporated into the GitDox application. Annotators and editors: please refer to layer annotations for information about all necessary document metadata.
