Metadata is information about your data; in this project metadata describes the document ("document metadata") and the corpus ("corpus metadata").

Metadata is available in:
  * ANNIS:  click on the "i" icon for corpus metadata; use the dropdown menu that appears for document metadata for each document
  * data.copticscriptorium.org web application: the document metadata appears at the bottom of each document; corpus metadata is not visible.

Both sets of metadata have been incorporated into the GitDox application.  Annotators and editors: please refer to [[http://wiki.copticscriptorium.org/doku.php?id=annotation_layer_names|layer annotations]] for information about all necessary document metadata.
